John C. Proctor Society
In the early 1900s John C. Proctor was a major benefactor, paving the way for Proctor Hospital to become who we are today. Through your membership in the Society, you can become a part of John C. Proctor’s legacy.
The John C. Proctor Society honors and recognizes the generosity and vision of those who have included the Foundation in their long-term plans through a bequest, life-income gift, or other planned gift.
To become a member of the John C. Proctor Society, advise the Proctor Health Care Foundation, in writing, of your planned gift:
- a bequest provision in your Will or revocable trust
- a life-income gift that names the Foundation as a remainder beneficiary, such as a charitable remainder trust, a charitable gift annuity, or a pooled income fund gift
- a charitable lead trust that provides income to the Foundation for a donor’s lifetime or a term of years
- a gift or assignment of qualified retirement plan assets, such as an IRA, 401(k) or 403(b)
- a gift of insurance
- a gift of property
- certain other planned gifts
Legacy gifts of any amount qualify for the John C. Proctor Society. If you have already included the Foundation or Hospital in a bequest or other planned gift, we hope you will let us know. Your willingness to be listed as a member of the John C. Proctor Society inspires others to follow your example. We acknowledge and respect those who wish to remain anonymous, but we urge you to let us know of your plans on a confidential basis. Of course, if you have not yet included the Foundation or Hospital in your plans and would like to explore the best options for you and your family, do not hesitate to contact us.
